Sweet Pea + Dakota + Montana + Rocky | Royal Oak Pet Photography
Talk about having the easiest photo session of my life. Ever. With the most well-behaved, gorgeous, and adorable dogs that I have ever worked with. Who also happen to live in a beautifully furnished/designed house. Where they get an entire floor to themselves aka dog room (basement)—complete with giant bed pillows, couch, and toys!
Sweet Pea (the one-eyed puggie–you can read more about her story here), Dakota, Montana, and Rocky are seriously spoiled, but unlike spoiled kids (I’m sure a few come to mind, hah), these four dogs are truly happy and grateful. It was a complete joy to photograph this little family and so heartwarming to see just how much love they have each other. It’s so evident when you look through their images. Although except maybe for Montana. He kind of has a “Grumpy Cat” face. Haha. :D
Rocky.
“Ahhhhh. See all empty; I did not steal your ham and cheese sandwich.”
Rocky surprised us all by suddenly sitting up to give a hug. <3
Someone looks unhappy about being left out of the photo fun.
The new “Grumpy Dog”?
Dakota.
Sweet Dakota was all smiles.
Except when she noticed I was photographing her little exchange. “Who’s this strange lady?”
Then we went outside to play for a little bit. I imagined how this conversation went down.
“Where were you last night? You were not there when I woke up.”
“I swear. I was in bed the entire night!!”
“Then explain that smell of doggy cologne on your collar.”
“Ahhhh!”
Anyway. They made up enough to take a pic together. The end. :)
