“I highly recommend Kat Ku Photography if you want quality photographs of your pet. Kat does an amazing job. She is professional and has a wonderful artistic eye. She returns communications promptly and has lots of patience for pets and people. We were very busy during the entire process and she made great efforts to stay in contact with us.

Kat outlines the whole process on her web site but here is a summary. After you contact Kat, she will send you a contract and price list. You can decide what you want for a session. Then you set up a time and she takes the photographs. She really knows how to get great shots of your pet and spends a lot of time making sure she gets the shots you want as well as ones you didn’t know you wanted but that are great. Once the session is over, she goes through and puts together a series of web images. If she gets really excited about an image, she may send it to you or share it on Facebook or her blog. It is a very exciting process as you get to see these amazing images of your fur kids creep out. You decide what images and packages you want and she works with you to get exactly what you want.

Kat did an amazing (yes, I keep using that word, but it is so true!) job on our images. She really really helped us with our photobook and made every post production change we asked – and she did a great job of them.

We love our photobooks, canvas and pictures and enjoyed working with Kat. I’m sure we will again in a few years. Everyone who sees our book and pictures love them and can’t believe she was able to get the shots she did and how great they look.

No matter how good the images look on your computer, when you get the canvas or photos, they will take your breath away with how beautiful they are. Kat is truly an artist. She is an animal lover as well and it shows in how she treats your pets and the amazing pictures she takes.

“It was immediately clear to me that Kat loved animals and loved photographing them. During our consulation appointment, my (large) dog climbed onto her lap after about 5 minutes! Despite the fact that my dog was very distracted during the shoot, Kat was able to capture a lot of great images. “I met Kat at a fundraiser for an animal rescue group. She had donated her time and talent to help those animals less privileged than mine.

“Kat is fantastic! We were looking for a photographer to capture our new puppy in action and had taken a look at several websites of local photographers who came recommended. During my searching online a link to Kat’s website caught my eye. When I first saw Kat’s work I knew pretty much instantly that this was our pet photographer! And we couldn’t be happier!

Kat is so gracious and her work speaks for itself. It’s very clear that Kat has a passion for pets and her skill at the art of photography also clearly shows in the work she produces. Kat also does a lot of work with pet rescues which is very admirable. She’s just a great person to work with. “We contacted Kat under sad circumstances: to capture professional photos of our sweet dog who had just been diagnosed with cancer. I was immediately impressed with Kat’s compassion and the way she became so personally invested in both of my dogs.
