With her watchful demeanor and lively eyes, you would never be able guess Reese’s age–only the obvious evidence of her body slowly giving out on her, as she preferred to lay down for most of the session. An 11 year-old-rescue Rottweiler, Reese loves hanging out with her mama in the living room, sprawled out on the rug with her two goofy brothers, Bubba and Scrappy, while looking out the window.
Bubba, who honestly, I can’t think of a more fitting name, is a white American Bulldog that was described as a lovable hillbilly with a second grade education. He definitely cracked me up, and I could see why he was given that description because it definitely took him a little bit longer to understand what I was asking of him when I was photographing him. You could almost see the cogwheels slowly turning in his head, lol. I wanted to just give him a big ol’ hug.
Scrappy, also with a fitting name, is a white, spotted pitbull and the youngest of the bunch. Super sweet and playful, he also has the cutest little polka dots! I just wanted to connect them all, haha. :D
Thank you Michelle for a fun photo session even though I know you were worried they weren’t doing much :) I think they did a great job for the camera, and I’m glad to hear that Reese is still holding on strong!!!
