Dakota and Dexter | Birthday Puppy Party
After photographing my first birthday “party” with Noodle, I’ve been dying to photograph another one. Puppies, cupcake, snazzy outfits, and balloons? I’m SO there!
So you can probably imagine my excitement when Megan contacted me about photographing Dexter and Dakota’s birthday bash. :D *Insert Kat happy dance here* (aka really awkward jumping around)
Mani the Terrier Mix and Monkey the Beagle aka Dakota and Dexter’s doggy friends also got to join in on the fun. By that, I mean get “tortured” with being forced to wear fashionable bow ties and birthday hats. All in exchange for a piece of cake from Three Dog Bakery that lasted all 30 seconds before being quickly gobbled down.
Watching dogs be dogs in general is a lot of fun, but getting to watch them eat cake is absolutely comedic. And capturing photos of them eating cake? Completely priceless.
Here are a few of my faves from the puppy party. After photographing Monkey, I can now see very clearly how she got her name, haha. ;p
