(Slowly catching up on blogging about all of these sessions!)

When I was out in San Francisco last October, I got to photograph a super duper cute Frenchie named Bowser. It turned out to be a little bit more exciting (or scary) than my sessions normally are, because Bowser somehow managed to break free of his leash and took off sprinting after a runner. Fortunately, Ryan managed to capture him before he got too far (guess he can sprint pretty fast, too!), so thank goodness, crisis averted! Btw, did I mention Bowser is deaf? Talk about trying to get a dog to stop running when they can’t even hear you!

Thankfully, the rest of the session went quite smoothly, although I do have to admit working with deaf dogs is a lot harder than blind dogs! I don’t think I realized how much I took for granted being able to use sound to get a dog’s attention to look at the camera–until now! :)
