“Squishy” Bear | Michigan Pet Photography
Yikes! Can’t believe it’s been over a month since I last blogged. No wonder I feel so rusty writing, ha.
The past four weeks have been a bit of whirlwind with organizing/running the 4th Annual Doggy Portraits for a Cause Fundraiser with the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) and my 12-day trip to NYC shortly after, where I took on the pets of New York. Needless to say, I’m in total recovery/hermit mode, with the upside being that I will have plenty of fun images to share over the next few weeks.
First up is Bear the Bull Terrier mix. An HSHV alum, Bear was featured as a “Pet of the Week”, which soon turned into “Pet of the Lifetime”, as Alana and Ben fell in love with him and soon took him home. They weren’t quite as in love with his original name though, which was Squishy (lol, kind of funny though), so they changed it to Bear.
Described as a southern gentleman with a bit of sass if he were human (not sure how sassy and gentleman quite go together, haha), some of his favorite things include being wrapped up in a heated blanket from the dryer (spoiled!), sunbathing, and playing with his favorite toy- a stuffed Christmas candy cane (clearly, his favorite time of year!).
Alana was so kind to share a few photos of Bear when he first came home (and with only a few spots on his little white body!). Since then, the number of spots have grown, and is happily spoiled and loved in his furever home. :) Thanks Alana and Ben for a wonderful session!
