“A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you can have that in your life, things won’t be too bad.” – Robert Wagner

When a dog has been faithfully at your side for the past eleven years, through the highs and the lows, what better way to celebrate your love with them than to have a photo session dedicated entirely to them?

Finnegan, also affectionately known as Finny, Dr. Rooch, La Rooch, and Choochies, is a 12-year-old, brindle Dutch Shepherd mix, was rescued when he was four months old. Described as a sweet old grandpa, we spent the afternoon giving him the “best day of his life”. In dog world, this means being given lots of good ear scratches and being fed tons of scrumptious treats aka hot dogs, cheese, and other delish meats–all while looking completely innocent/clueless when giving off aromatic gas later in the evening during the digestion process. Okay, I made up the latter part, but hey.

Frieda, Finny’s fur-sister, joined in on the photo session fun. She’s only a year younger than Finny, but by the way she acts, you could never tell. I hope I age as gracefully as her. :D
